Massage Envy Marlboro is currently accepting resumes for our Sales Associate position located in Marlboro, NJ.

We are searching for
highly goal oriented, energetic, accountable
individuals who will be responsible for promoting and selling spa services and memberships to new guests.

We help our guests achieve their health and wellness goals by providing an EXCEPTIONAL service experiences each and every time.

We are looking for candidates who can work a
minimum of 20 hours
per week and available to work evenings and weekends.

To start, your primary job will be to sell spa services and memberships -- employees who learn our business and perform well, will be considered for a SALES MANAGER position.

DUTIES:

  • Provide excellent customer service to our members/guests by answering calls and scheduling appointments
  • Effectively communicate with members/guest as to the benefits of membership, as well as Spa policies and procedures
  • Greet members and guests upon arrival and SELL MEMBERSHIPS-
  • Assist in maintaining professional front desk and reception area-
  • Assist in administrative tasks including filing, member folder maintenance, and data entry of client records and surveys
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the entire Spa at all times
  • Assist in marketing and promotional activities both in-Spa and off-site
  • Various other duties as assigned by spa management

As a front desk associate at this Massage Envy franchised location, essential responsibilities revolve around providing excellent services to members and guests. These include:

  • Answering phone calls.
  • Setting and checking members and guests in and out for appointments.
  • Greeting members and guests upon arrival.
  • Promoting the Wellness Program.
  • Re-engaging inactive members.
  • Keeping management apprised of member concerns and following manager s policies, procedures and direction.
  • Accepting constructive criticism in a positive manner and using it as a learning tool.
  • Upholding the Massage Envy brand s core values of optimism, gratitude, excellence, consistency and empathy.
  • Staying updated on retail products and promotions.
  • Recognizing and supporting team goals and creating and maintaining positive relationships with team members.

Other requirements include: Strong customer service skills. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, service with a smile, tact and diplomacy Previous retail, luxury, call center or reservation booking experience in a fast-paced service environment Excellent communication skills Positive attitude and enthusiasm Team player with good organizational and interpersonal skills General housekeeping Strong PC and keyboarding skills Able to handle multiple duties simultaneously Available to work varied shifts (evenings and weekends) We offer an excellent career opportunity and growth potential with advanced continuous educational training

What it Takes to Succeed

Qualified candidates will:

Education, Skills and Training:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Possess basic math and cash handling experience.
  • Have strong phone and computer skills.
  • Have previous customer service experience (preferred).
  • Be able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks.
  • Work cohesively with others in a fun and fast-paced environment.
  • Possess general knowledge of massage and esthetic services and modalities.

Communications and Personal Interactions

  • Have a strong customer service orientation and be able to communicate effectively with members and guests, prospective clients, vendors, and the franchised location s management and team.
  • Maintain client confidentiality.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
