Job Description and Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle/Fleet Mechanic for our Manalapan, NJ facility.
Our Manalapan facility produces and distributes via our internal fleet operations liquid and gaseous helium to customers in the Northeast area as well as for export for International shipments. You will report to the Manalapan Distribution Supervisor and be responsible for the maintenance of company owned tractors and tanker trailers.
We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated and well organized, self-starter with strong commitment to safety. You should be a strong team player with ability to work well with fellow mechanics/drivers/operations personnel.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as necessary on over-the-road Class A, Class B tractors, and tanker trailers
Document/record work performed electronically on computer based maintenance system
Perform road repairs when necessary
Perform electrical/electronic repairs on tractors and trailers
Ensure fleet is in compliance with DOT regulations
Manage parts room within facility's budget
Document/record Hazmat and OSHA requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma/equivalent
3-5 years strong vehicle maintenance and repair experience for over-the-road Class 8 and Class B tractors and trailers
Strong mechanical background, with above average computer experience/skills.
Ability to drive a Class A and Class B tractors
Electrical troubleshooting skills on 12 volt DC circuits
Diesel engine troubleshooting and repair experience
Welding knowledge and experience preferred
Energetic, highly motivated and well organized, self-starter with strong commitment to safety
Self-motivated with the ability to work alone
Must be able to work overtime depending on business needs
Solid work history
Valid Class A CDL preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
