Certified Medical Assistant who provides clinical care under the supervision of the physician(s) and site supervisor. Administers intramuscular and subcutaneous injections in limited circumstances which may be delegated by the provider. Will be assigned to cover in both Eatontown and Manalapan locations.
Responsibilities
Clinically multiskilled Medical Assistant.
Performs phlebotomy, spirometry, audiology, EKG, vision screening.
Responsible for exam room preparation, supply inventory management and documentation in the electronic medical record.
Performs department secretary and other clerical duties as requested.
Potential to travel to various external sites to perform occupational health screenings.
Qualifications
Graduate of accredited school of Medical Assisting
MUST be Nationally Certified Medical Assistant
2 years experience preferably in a medical office/clinic setting
MUST have strong phlebotomy skills
Must be able to drive and travel between Eatontown and Manalapan locations
Excellent computer and communication skills
